Dunkin supports our Troops!

I just came across some tasty information I thought I would share. I am so grateful to our men and women serving in Iraq and other areas. I am always excited when I find a company that "salutes" them if you will.
Dunkin Donuts donates the coffee. Dunkin Donuts will send a case (24 one pound bags) to service members serving in Iraq. Dunkin Donuts donates the coffee and pays all the shipping costs.Go to www.dunkindonuts.com Fill out the form. Put the soldiers name and APO address.Click on "submit"They are getting a lot of requests so it may take a little time. You can also write with the same info to:Dunkin Brands130 Royall Street Canton, MA 02121Or call customer relations at 781-737-3000 (they are very friendly and helpful)
From Dunkin' Donuts:Dunkin' Brands, Inc. supports the brave men and woman of the United
States military. We are honored to send a taste of home to our troops overseas. We will hold a monthly lottery to randomly select 50 military members among those requests submitted. Each will receive a case of Dunkin' Donuts coffee. We will limit the offer to those who have not previously received any coffee. Please understand that because of the volume of requests, only recipients will be notified.
I hope someone finds this information helpful. Perhaps you know someone who is deployed that would benefit from this.
A BIG thanks to Dunkin Donuts!

Friendship

Friendship: a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.

A Person Like You
(author unknown)

The meaning of being special,

is found in a person like you.

A friend who is so thoughtful,

in everything they say and do.

A person who betters my life,

by being a part of it each day.

Someone who touches my heart,

in a special, and unique way.

A person who's always giving,

and willing to help all they can.

Who truly gives from their heart,

showing they care for who I am.

This friend I have found in you,

is as special as one could be.

And I am so blessed in my life,

that you've been a friend to me.

Do not tell your 9 year old to clean his mess

Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent with day with our adopted family and we had a blast. Felt just like home. We got home after being gone for 5 hours and I told Ian to let the dog out. Well of course the tie out was all tangled up. Rather than untangle it Ian just decided not to let Lola outside. Needless to say she went potty in the house by the back door. Not her fault and she never potty"s in the house. I told Ian it was his responsibility to clean it up because he did not put her outside to potty like I told her to. BIG mistake! Ian decide he would mop the kitchen floor with Dawn dish soap. I asked him why he had soap all over the floor. He said "mom I might as well clean the entire kitchen floor if I was already going to mop a small spot". How can you argue with that logic. I will never tell him to clean the floor again unless I am in the room to supervise.

kids will love it & you will love to give it to them!

I recently visited my friends blog. She has found the answer to every moms question. What can I give my kids on the go that is healthy (kinda)? Check out her blog. http://tanyapeila.blogspot.com/2008/11/little-mans-favorite-snack-and-giveaway.html

She is having a give away! Go see for yourself! You might just win!

Not enough pictures ???

This is my first time blogging. So here goes!

I know personally with my hubby being deployed I can not seem to get enough called Oppictures. I know my hubby feels the same way. I found this cool program online eration: Love reunited. You can search in your local area to find a photographer. Once you find one you contact them. You will get a couple forms to sign for release. Then set a date for pictures to be taken. The photographer will take several shots. They will be developed by the photographer and then placed in a book. The book will be sent directly to your loved one over seas. The best part is yet to come. Once you get your loved ones arrival date, let the photographer know. He/she will then meet you at the homecoming to capture the "first kiss" or "first hug". It is totally FREE! Check it out. http://oplove.org/
