Brooks & Dunn Final Rodeo
This weekend I went to the Brooks & Dunn Final Rodeo Concert at the Tacoma Dome. To say the least it was AMAZING! Kix Brooks stated this is not the duo's Hell freezes over tour and he will never say never.
That’s right, Brooks & Dunn have officially announced the end of a 20 year chart dominating reign on country music. B&D posted on their own website:
To Our Fans:
After 20 years of making music and riding this trail together, we have agreed as a duo that it’s time call it a day. This ride has been everything and more than we could ever have dreamed…. We owe it all to you, the fans. If you hear rumors, don’t believe them, it’s just time.
We will release our #1’s and then some” on September 8th and bid you farewell one last time in 2010, with The Last Rodeo Tour.
The concert was a memorable walk down memory lane with the duo. The will surely be missed in the Country Music World.

One Flaw In Women
One Flaw In Women
Women have strengths that amaze men......
They bear hardships and they carry burdens,
but they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy
and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in..
They stand up to injustice.
They don't take "no" for an answer
when they believe there is a better solution.
They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel
and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about
a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member,
yet they are strong when they
think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss
can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you
to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what
makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love.
They have compassion and ideas.
They give moral support to their
family and friends.
Women have vital things to say
and everything to give..
HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,
IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

When a soldier comes home.....
WHEN A SOLDIER COMES HOME
This email is being circulated around the world - please keep it going
When a soldier comes home, he finds it hard....
..to listen to his son whine about being bored.
....to keep a straight face when people complain about potholes.
.... to be tolerant of people who complain about the hassle of getting ready
for work.
....to be understanding when a co-worker complains about a bad night's sleep..
..to be silent when people pray to God for a new car.
...to control his panic when his wife tells him he needs to drive slower.
..to be compassionate when a businessman expresses a fear of flying.
....to keep from laughing when anxious parents say they're afraid to send their kids off to summer camp.
....to keep from ridiculing someone who complains about hot weather.
.....to control his frustration when a colleague gripes about his coffee
being cold.
....to remain calm when his daughter complains about having to walk the
dog.
....to be civil to people who complain about their jobs.
....to just walk away when someone says they only get two weeks of vacation
a year.
....to be forgiving when someone says how hard it is to have a new baby in
the house.
The only thing harder than being a Soldier..
Is loving one.
